Hit my 1000th straight razor shave last week and honestly felt nothing

Everyone talks about celebrating milestones like 500 or 1000 shaves but I just finished the job and moved on to the next client. The real surprise was realizing I screwed up number 47 way worse than any milestone mattered.

Man 47 must have been a rough one if it sticks with you more than hitting a thousand! Guess that's how it goes sometimes, the fails are more memorable than the wins.
