Had a walk-in last Wednesday at 4:45 that made me rethink how I book my afternoons
Wednesdays are usually dead for me, I'm lucky to get three heads between open and close. Last week a guy walked in at 4:45, no appointment, just wanted a clean fade before a job interview the next morning. My usual move is to rush those so I can sweep up and get home, but something made me take my time, maybe because he looked nervous. Took me 45 minutes, we talked about his kids, and he tipped $20 on a $30 cut. Turned out he works at the shop two doors down and now he's sent me four guys in a week. Does anyone else notice the last-minute walk-ins end up being the best regulars, or is that just me?
