Dropped my clippers mid-fade and nearly ruined a client's haircut
Honestly, I was at my station last Thursday doing a skin fade for a regular, and somehow my cordless Wahl Magic Clip slipped right out of my hand. It hit the tile floor and the blade guard popped off, but thank god the blade didn't bend or chip. I just picked it up, wiped it down, and finished the cut with no issues. Customer didn't even notice, but my heart was pounding for a minute. Has anyone else had a close call with dropping their tools on a job?

Haven't we all had that heart stopping moment where you see your livelihood heading for the floor? I swear my clippers have a death wish sometimes, they always seem to wiggle out of my hand at the worst possible second. Glad you caught a break on that one!

Right? That split second when you see it start to slip and all you can do is watch it go. Dropped my trimmer straight into a bucket of water last month. Had to take the whole thing apart to dry it out, luckily it still works.
