Rant: my kid's school pulled 'The Absolutely True Diary' and the librarian wouldn't say who filed the challenge
Found out Thursday that a parent filed a formal challenge against it at my son's middle school in Plano, and the district pulled it from the shelf while they 'review' it, no date given. I asked the librarian who filed it and she said she couldn't share that, which felt like the whole problem in one sentence. Has anyone had luck getting a challenge form made public through a school board meeting?
