My small town library hid the challenged books shelf in the back, so I moved it to the front
Three years ago in Mankato I found the banned section shoved behind the reference desk, six books total, and the librarian said they kept it there to avoid complaints from the county board. Last week I walked in and someone had stacked them on the main display table with a sign reading 'read these before they decide for you' and no one has pulled them yet. Has your local library tried to hide challenged titles, and what did you do about it?
