Why does every bank app still make you type in your full password like it's 2005?

I get that security matters but some of my accounts force a full keyboard password login every time while others let me use Face ID - which side actually keeps your money safer or is it just lazy UX design? Anyone else tired of typing 12 characters on a phone screen just to check your balance?

Just spent 5 minutes typing my 14-character password into Capital One this morning, so I feel your pain completely.

Honestly, I used to think people were just being dramatic about password stuff. Like, just type it in, you know? But then I had to log into my bank after a phone update and it took me like 10 tries because I kept getting the caps lock on or missing a special character. Changed my whole view on it. Totally get the struggle now.
