Switched to real-time reconciliation after a $900 float headache
I used to batch reconcile every Monday morning and always had a small mismatch that took hours to trace back. Last month I flipped to real-time matching in our core system and the variance dropped to basically zero. Anyone else found that daily checks beat weekly ones when it comes to catching merchant settlement errors?
