My bank's instant transfer failed and the money vanished for 5 days
Set up a real-time payment to my landlord last Tuesday. My bank showed it sent, his bank never got it. Customer service kept saying it was a network issue on their end. Money finally showed up Sunday but I got a late fee for the rent. Has anyone else had a failed instant transfer take days to resolve?

Oh man, that's brutal. Maybe it's just me but has anyone thought about the timing of the network issue and whether it was planned, like banks sometimes do maintenance at night and your transfer got caught in a bad window? Idk, I've had a transfer get stuck once and it came back the next day, but five days feels like they were doing more than fixing a glitch. Hope you can at least get the late fee waived by showing them the proof.
