My bank's app used to be a mess, now it's actually good

I'm with First National in Chicago and about a year ago, their mobile app was so slow it took almost 45 seconds just to check my balance. After a big update last month, the whole thing loads in under 3 seconds and I can even deposit checks by just taking a picture. I guess they finally listened to all the complaints. Has anyone else seen their bank's app get a lot better recently?

Felt like the future" is so right. That little whirring sound as it counted your cash, getting a receipt with that weird paper. It was magic compared to waiting in a bank line. Now I just get annoyed if the app takes two seconds to load.

That little whirring sound was oddly satisfying, right? It felt like you were in a sci-fi movie or something. But honestly, what do you think was better about that old magic-the novelty of the machine or the fact that you didn't have to deal with a bank teller's judgmental stare when you're taking out $20 on a Tuesday? lol. Now it's just a race against a loading screen while your coffee gets cold. Guess we traded the whir for a spinning wheel of doom.
