Learned from a Fed pamphlet that paper checks still move $25 trillion a year, and I just stared at the wall
Grabbed a free booklet at my bank in Des Moines about check processing and it said roughly 3.4 billion checks still clear annually in the US, which floored me since I figured we were down to like a trickle by now, so does anyone here still write checks on purpose or have you all gone full autopay?

My grandma still mails me a birthday check every year and I hold onto it for weeks because I keep forgetting to go to the bank. Last one sat on my dash so long the ink faded.
