Just realized I wasted $60 on those instant payment transfer apps

I kept using those apps that promise instant transfers to my bank account for a small fee. Over the last 3 months I paid about $60 total in fees just to get money right away instead of waiting the normal 1-2 business days. It started with a $2 fee here and there, but it added up fast. I finally looked at my bank statement and saw how much I lost on something so silly. Now I just plan ahead a little and wait for the free transfers. Has anyone else noticed how those small fees creep up on you?

$60 over three months is rough but honestly I've done worse. I was paying $5 a week on those apps for about six months before I caught myself. Once you add it all up it's basically paying for laziness not speed.

Does anyone else just stare at their purchase history sometimes and feel personally attacked by their own past decisions? I spent $45 on one of those "meal prep in 20 minutes" apps last year and still order takeout like three times a week. The real kicker was when I realized I was paying for a premium subscription on a recipe app that I never even opened. I guess I was paying for the fantasy of being an organized person, not the reality.
