I used to write checks for my rent, but my landlord switched to an app called RentDrop last year and it's way easier.

RentDrop, huh. Did your landlord make you switch or was it optional? I'm always suspicious when a company pushes a new app, feels like they're getting a kickback or something. What's the actual fee structure look like on your end?

Ugh, I heard they charge a "convenience fee" for card payments.

Right because apparently my landlord deserves a tip for the privilege of paying them. Guess I'll start charging a convenience fee for getting out of bed each morning.
