Can we talk about that $35 wire transfer fee that actually saved my bacon?
I almost missed a property tax deadline, but paying the fee for a same-day wire got the payment there in time, avoiding a much bigger late penalty... anyone else ever bite the bullet on a fee that was totally worth it?

Glad it worked out for you, but that's a crazy high fee for a wire. My bank only charges twenty-five bucks for that. Still, you're right that avoiding a late fee makes it worth it. Sometimes you just have to pay to fix a mistake fast.
