Opened a brokerage account at 4am out of pure frustration with my bank's wire transfer

My bank held a $12,500 wire for 6 business days because the sender's name had a typo, and the broker I needed to fund was about to drop me. I finally paid the $45 transfer fee and it landed in under 20 minutes. Anyone else switch after a bank's '3 day' window turned into a week?

Banks always quote that 3 day window but it really means 3 business days after they finish their internal checks, which can take forever. The $45 fee sucks but honestly sometimes it's worth it just to get the money moving same day.
