Broker gave me a 15-minute window to sign docs or lose the rate
This was back in 2021 when rates were still low. I was buying a duplex in Tucson. The broker called me at 4:45 PM on a Friday, said I had until 5:00 to e-sign or the rate lock expired. No warning ahead of time. I was driving home from a job site, pulled over in a Dairy Queen parking lot, and signed on my phone. Never even got to read the fine print. Has anyone else had a broker pull that kind of last-minute pressure move?
