Appreciation post: the bank teller in Austin who stopped my overdraft spiral
So I'm in the PNC on South Congress last month, moving money between accounts on my phone like an idiot, and the teller, Maria, just leans over and says 'you know your checking is gonna hit zero before that transfer clears, right?' She was spot on, saved me a $35 fee and probably two more from my own stubbornness. I always figured brokers were the ones with the real insight, but that 5 minute chat changed how I watch my float. Has anyone else had a banker catch something your trading app never flagged?

Maria sounds like a real one. Most bank staff just point at the app and move on. She actually looked at your mess and gave a heads up. That fee stuff adds up fast, and apps never warn you about timing like that. Good on you for listening too, some folks would just ignore it. Goes to show a human beat the algorithm that day.
