My sourdough starter died during a budget review
I was feeding my sourdough starter during a long budget meeting. Forgot about it when the discussion got heated. Came back to a moldy mess after the call ended. Now I'm out a starter and still have to deal with those spreadsheets. At least the meeting is over, I guess.

Forget about it when the discussion got heated" is the real story of my life. I killed a starter last month because a budget call ran long and I just left it on the counter. Came back to a crusty, sad jar. Honestly, some days the spreadsheets are easier to keep alive.

Lost a whole basil plant that way, @ryanf66... just spaced on watering it for a week. Guess the plants are harder than the spreadsheets sometimes.
