My 'perfect' macarons turned into a sticky pink puddle

I followed a recipe from a Parisian bakery blog to the letter, but my kitchen was way too humid. They spread into one giant, glossy blob that my friend called 'abstract art'. Anyone else have a fancy recipe completely flop because of the weather?

Weather ruins more plans than people do.

Weather isn't that deep. It rains, plans change, you move on. Not exactly a tragedy. The way people talk about it you'd think they lost a loved one. Yeah it's annoying but it's just weather.
