My mom told me I was overmixing my banana bread and it was coming out tough
She caught me stirring the batter like I was trying to win a mixer competition. She said 'you're developing the gluten, stop.' I switched to just folding it until the flour disappears and now it comes out soft every time. Anyone else get called out by a family member for a bad habit?
