Kept cutting my Bermuda down to like half an inch thinking it would thicken up, and after 5 weeks of dead patches in the August heat I finally measured and realized I was cutting off the crowns. A guy at the co-op in Waco told me to raise the deck to 2.5 inches and the yard came back in 10 days. Am I the only one who trusted a forum post over the actual plant in front of me?
