Told my bowling league that lane 7 was cursed for 2 seasons, then I started throwing a house ball on purpose
For about 2 seasons at the alley off Route 9 in Poughkeepsie I blamed lane 7 for my 140 average, refused to switch lanes, and even made the desk guy move us twice. Then I got lazy one night, grabbed a 12 pound house ball instead of hauling out my own, and rolled a 211 because I stopped trying to hook the thing. Is anyone else convinced half of what they call bad luck is just them repeating a bad habit?
