TIL you don't argue with bad takes, you just agree hard and watch them fall apart
I used to get into it with every bad take I saw. Like I'd type out a whole paragraph with links and numbers, trying to win some guy over on the internet. Then maybe 6 months ago I was at a backyard BBQ in Fresno and my cousin kept going on about how you should never put a cover on a grill because it traps moisture. Instead of fighting him I just said "yeah you're probably right, covers are a scam" and let him keep talking. He kept going and going until he got to the part where he admitted he leaves his grill out in the rain all winter, and his buddy just looked at him and laughed. Whole thing fell apart on its own in like 4 minutes and I didn't have to write one word. Now when I see a wild take on here I just agree and ask one small follow up question. Works almost every time. Does agreeing real hard feel dirty to anyone else or is that just me being too nice about it?
