TIL my uncle's 'just buy the cheap paint' rule held up for 9 years

He said it back in 2015 when I was painting my first house in Dayton, and here we are 9 years later with one peeling spot on the trim while the fancy brand on my neighbor's place has been flaking since year 3, so now I'm wondering if anyone else has a cheap-option win that still bugs them.
