Rant: I picked the window seat on a 9-hour flight to Sydney, then paid for it literally

I chose the window for the views and ended up with a guy who snored like a chainsaw plus a kid kicking my seat for 5 hours. Has anyone else regretted a seat choice so bad they considered asking the pilot to land early?

Honestly asking the pilot to land early is a bit much. Yeah it sucks, but it's 9 hours, not a week. People survive worse flights all the time.
