Was dead set against automatic chicken door openers until a raccoon got in

I spent three years telling everyone those automatic coop doors were a gimmick and not worth the money. Last Tuesday I lost my favorite hen, Betty, to a raccoon that snuck in before I woke up to open the door manually. Has anyone found a reliable brand that actually holds up to raccoons trying to pry it open?

Read a review saying the Run-Chicken brand held up to a bear.

Quick question, did Betty Barnes actually see a test or just read a review? Because I looked into Run-Chicken after losing a hen to a mink (totally different problem, I know) and saw a lot of people saying the plastic hinges crack in cold weather, which is a raccoon's best friend for prying. The bear thing sounds like a one-off story someone posted on Facebook and people just ran with it. I ended up going with a brand called ChickenGuard, which has a metal track that a raccoon can't get its claws under. It's been a year and no issues, even with the local coons that are basically little ninjas around here.
