Hit 40 eggs in a week from 6 hens, is that normal?
My barred rocks and one leghorn started laying like crazy this month, I counted 40 eggs in 7 days and I'm running out of cartons. Is that a typical jump for late spring, or should I watch for something like overfeeding or a health issue?
