Wasted $150 on a cheap greenhouse kit that collapsed in the first windstorm

Bought a pop-up greenhouse from Amazon last spring and it folded like a cheap chair when a 30 mph gust hit it. Anyone else have better luck with a DIY PVC frame instead?

My buddy built one with PVC and it lasted three brutal winters.

PVC holds up way better than people give it credit for if you use the thick walled stuff and brace it right. Funny how we drop good money on fancy metal stuff but sometimes the cheap fix outlasts everything else in real world use. That's just how it goes with most things - the simple answer usually wins if you put a little thought into how you build it.
