That $15 tube of construction adhesive I refused to use for years finally saved my sagging fence post
After my third post rotted out in 2 years I finally tried the PL Premium stuff the old guy at Ace Hardware in Omaha kept pushing on me and now I'm just mad at myself for all the time I wasted replacing posts instead of just fixing them with glue lol, anyone else stubbornly avoid a product forever and then regret it?

Honestly my buddy down in Council Bluffs spent like three summers digging up and replacing the same fence post every time the ground thawed out. He swore up and down he'd never use glue on anything structural, called it a waste of money every time I mentioned it. Finally he had two posts go bad in one season and his neighbor just handed him a tube of the PL Premium stuff and said try it or keep digging holes forever. That was four years ago and he hasn't touched a shovel since, now he's got a whole shelf of different adhesive tubes in his garage and acts like he invented the stuff.

Oh man, I'll admit I was just like your buddy at first, swore glue was a scam for anything outside of crafts. But after I watched my deck railing hold up through three winters with the stuff, I had to eat my words lol.
