Question about concrete slabs settling after a wet spring in Ohio

I poured a 10x12 slab for a shed base last October and it looked perfect. After all the rain we got in April around Columbus, one corner has dropped almost 2 inches. Now I'm wondering if I can mudjack it myself or if I should just rip it out and start over. Has anyone else dealt with a slab that settled this fast?

Read something a while back from a concrete guy in Ohio who said that wet springs are brutal for new slabs because the ground hasn't fully settled yet. Your pad is only 6 months old and you already lost 2 inches, that's pretty extreme. Mudjacking might fix the height but the real problem is the soil under it probably wasn't compacted right before you poured. A friend of mine tried mudjacking a patio and it worked for a year before sinking again. If it were me, I'd rip it out, dig down a foot or so, and put in some proper compacted gravel base. That way you won't be dealing with this every spring.

You know, that Ohio concrete guy sounds like he's been through some stuff, and I feel like that's basically my life philosophy at this point. I mean, I once tried to fix a sinking stepping stone in my yard with just a shovel and some gravel, and let's just say it ended with me sitting in a hole wondering where I went wrong in life. So I totally get the mudjacking thing being a temporary bandaid, because my bandaid solutions usually last about as long as a diet on a Sunday. Idk, maybe ripping it out and doing the gravel base is the real way to go, but I'm too lazy for that kind of commitment. I'd probably just pile some dirt on it and hope.
