Poured concrete vs paver stones for my patio in Austin
I spent two weeks going back and forth between concrete and pavers for my backyard patio build last spring. Ended up going with pavers since I wanted to be able to replace sections if they cracked. So far so good, but I do notice more weeds popping up between the joints than I expected. Has anyone else dealt with that using pavers in a humid climate like Texas?

Pour yourself a drink and get ready to weed whack every couple weeks, that's just the paver life now. I'm in Houston and my paver joints look like a mini jungle by July no matter how much polymeric sand I dump in there. Concrete would've saved your knees but hey, at least your patio looks more expensive than the neighbor's slab.
