Hot take: my shed floor grew a 3 inch heave in 8 months and it was the downspout
One downspout dumping right at the corner soaked the clay under my slab and pushed it up 3 inches in 8 months. Moved the outlet 6 feet out and added a splash block, has anyone else fixed a heave like this or am I looking at a full repour anyway?

Water just finds a new low spot anyway, you're patching a symptom.
