My map reading skills in the Wind River Range were saved by a squirrel

I watched three separate groups confidently head down the wrong drainage because they only looked at their phone screens, not the actual ridge lines. Has anyone else seen people trust GPS over basic terrain features?

Honestly @craig.grant, that chipmunk would still be better than my GPS last week lol
