Honestly, I tried the West Coast Trail vs. the Juan de Fuca last summer and the difference in trail maintenance was huge.

Yeah, the trail upkeep difference is real. I found bringing my own repair kit for the rougher sections saved me a lot of hassle.

Gotta point out though, the Juan de Fuca is meant to be a rougher trail. It's not maintained as much because it's a different kind of experience. Bring your own repair kit for sure.
