Did the Presidential Range in 4 days with 2 zero days and it wrecked my knee
Two summers back I did the full Presidential Traverse in New Hampshire over 4 days with a buddy, and by day 3 my right knee was so swollen I could barely get down Madison. We had planned it as a relaxed pace with 2 zero days at the huts, but the rocky descents just destroyed me and I ended up hobbling the last 8 miles. Has anyone else had a route that looked chill on paper turn into a joint killer, and what did you change the next time?
