Update: told my sister I can't loan her $400 for her car repair on Tuesday
I practiced the words in my car for 20 minutes before I walked into her kitchen, because every time I lend her money it turns into a fight about me being the older one. She went quiet, then said she'd ask our uncle instead, and now I can't tell if she's mad or just hurt. If you've set a money line with a sibling, did they come around after a bit or did the silence turn into something worse?
