My sister wanted $600 for "emergency" bills 3 times in 2 years, so I tried putting it in writing
My sister hit me up for money 3 times in about 2 years, always the same story about an emergency, and each time it was $400 to $600. Last March she asked again, so instead of saying yes or no on the spot, I sent her a text saying I could help once more but wanted to agree on a payback plan before I sent anything. She got quiet for two days, then said she would figure it out herself. Turns out writing it down did the talking for me, and we still talk every Sunday. Has anybody else tried the payback plan move, and did your family take it okay or get upset?
