I finally had the money talk with my mom over Thanksgiving and it went better than I feared
I'd been putting off telling her I can't keep covering her cable bill, which is $140 a month, and I braced for a fight at her kitchen table in Dayton. She just nodded and said she'd been meaning to cut the cord anyway, and we set a date for me to stop paying in January. Has anyone else had a limit talk go way smoother than expected?
