Had to choose between letting my mom move in or paying for her assisted living
We went with the assisted living place in Springfield, which costs $3,500 a month, and the talk about money was brutal. Anyone have tips for handling the guilt that comes with this kind of decision?

That price makes more sense if you factor in the cost of living crisis hitting smaller cities now too. Places that used to be cheap are seeing rents jump way faster than wages. It's a brutal squeeze for people who moved there to save money.
