Finally told my dad I can't keep covering his truck payment, and he said okay
My dad lost his job at the plant in Gary back in March and I started paying his $415 truck note so it wouldn't get repo'd, but I never actually said out loud that it was temporary until Sunday dinner when I just blurted it out. He got quiet for a second, then said 'I figured,' and told me he'd already talked to his brother about selling it and getting something cash. Now I'm sitting here relieved but also kinda guilty, so what do you even say after a talk like that goes better than you planned?
