Worst shift of my career was tracing a short in a Cessna 172 for 14 hours straight

Turned out a coffee spill had corroded the connector under the passenger seat, and I only found it after pulling every single panel and testing every wire in the harness, has anyone else wasted a whole day on something that dumb?
