PSA: I used to think torque wrenches on spark plugs were overkill until I chased a rough running 172 for 3 days
Turns out the M20 spec for those Champion plugs on a Lycoming is actually critical after I found five of them barely finger tight and one cross-threaded, so what did it take to convince you guys that something is worth doing the right way?

Ngl, I once used a crescent wrench on spark plugs and learned that lesson the hard way too.

Man that sucks, I felt that. We've all been there trying to make something work with the wrong tool and just making it worse.
