Pro tip: Check the CAN bus termination resistors on that new Garmin G5 install

Spent 8 hours chasing a weird intermittent display blanking until I found a single 120-ohm resistor had a cold solder joint from the factory. Anyone else seen this on recent units?

Actually, those resistors are supposed to be 60 ohms each for a proper 120-ohm bus termination. Might be worth double-checking the spec.

I mean I've always seen it as two 120 ohm resistors in parallel, @susan_hall.
