Hit 5,000 connector checks without a single fail today... then got scared

I've been tracking my work on a pad for months and hit 5,000 crimps and pins with zero callbacks, but that number made me realize I'm overdue for a stupid mistake. Has anyone else had a streak like that break on them and how did it mess with your head?

Man I feel you hard on this. I had a 3,400 run on pneumatic line installs last year, felt bulletproof, then I cross-threaded a fitting on a Tuesday morning and blew the whole system during pressure test. It wrecked my head for a week, kept second guessing every fitting even when I knew it was good. The worst part was everyone else had already forgotten about it but I couldn't stop replaying that moment. Now when I get over 2,000 good I start double checking everything like I'm paranoid. Your streak is impressive but that fear is real and it never really goes away.

Ngl, that 3,400 run is solid but you're off on the details a bit. Cross-threading a fitting usually causes a slow leak, not a full blowout unless you really torqued it past the breaking point. Still a bad day either way, but the pressure test failing on a Tuesday hits different because you gotta spend the rest of the week fixing it and dealing with the paperwork.
