Vent: A painter in my building said something about clearcoat that changed my whole process

Honestly, he told me he always waits a full 48 hours before wet sanding, even if the sheet says it's dry. I tried it on a hood last week and the finish came out way smoother. Has anyone else found a longer wait time makes a real difference?

@henderson.mason also has a point, even if he didn't say much. That time thing really is key. I've been doing 36 to 48 hours on my last few jobs and the clear lays down way flatter before polishing.
