Learned a hard lesson about paint curing times the other day
I rushed a fender repair in my garage last Saturday because the customer needed it by Sunday morning, and now the clear coat is showing fish eye bubbles from moisture trapped underneath. Should have waited the full 24 hours like the can said instead of trying to save a few hours. Anyone else ever get burned by skipping the cure time on a quick job?

Bet your issue isnt even just the trapped moisture. Did you check your air compressor tank before you sprayed? I had a buddy who kept getting fisheyes on perfectly cured paint and it turned out his compressor was dumping oil mist into his air lines from a worn out ring. That clear coat could be reacting to contaminated air just as much as rushing the cure. Also, if you were using a harbor freight or cheap gun, those seals degrade fast and leak lube right into your paint cup. Might want to bleed your compressor and check your filter setup before you blame the clock.

Draining your compressor tank regularly fixed that exact problem for me, @nora_park72.
