I finally told a customer to back off during a repair

Honestly, this woman kept trying to give me tools while I was working. Tbh, it was so awkward I had to stop and set boundaries. Ngl, should we ban non-staff from the bay area?

Boundaries are KEY in those situations. My own clumsiness means I'd probably fumble the extra tools anyway. Still, letting people watch is fine, but keep their hands to themselves.

Know exactly what you mean. My tools go flying if anyone gets too close, so I set clear rules now.

Yeah, totally get that protective feeling... I nearly had a heart attack last week when someone almost knocked my good chisel off the bench. Setting those rules straight up just saves everyone the stress.
