Hit my 200th frame straightening job this week and it got me thinking
Two hundred frames seems like a lot, but half of them were total write-offs from cheap import hits versus the other half being repairable domestic wrecks. Does anyone else track their numbers, or am I just being weird about keeping count?

Man I never tracked numbers like that, just went by gut feeling.

Gut feeling works fine until it doesn't, plain and simple. Heard a guy on a podcast say most people only notice their gut was wrong when they lose big. That stuck with me because it's true. You don't track patterns when things are going good, you just ride the wave. Then one bad call wipes out months of wins and you're stuck wondering why you didn't pay more attention. Numbers are boring but they're like a map, they show you the potholes before you hit them.
