Stacking vs single exposure, I finally switched
I used to just take one long exposure of the Orion Nebula and call it done. After seeing a friend's stacked image from his backyard in Phoenix, the detail was so much better that I spent a weekend learning DeepSkyStacker with 40 frames. The difference is night and day, has anyone else made the jump and gone back?

Did you try stacking from your same backyard too, or just compare it to your old shots?
