PSA: Check your RAW file dates before stacking, I lost 6 hours to a clock issue

My camera timestamp was off by 4 hours from a battery swap and my stacked image had star trails I couldn't explain, took me way too long to notice the EXIF data was lying. Anyone else get burned by a timezone or clock mismatch when aligning frames?

Oh man, that is brutal. I've been there with a camera clock thing too, mine was off by like 30 minutes and I couldn't figure out why my moon shots were half a frame off. It's so easy to miss because everything else looks fine until you zoom in and see the stars are just smeared. Six hours is rough, I'd be so annoyed with myself.
