Reading a paper last night and found out they discovered a 3,000-year-old honey jar in Georgia that was still edible, which is wild lol.

Has anyone else come across a find that just seems impossible to preserve?

That honey thing is nuts. Salt is a big one too. They find ancient salt mines where the stuff is basically still good. It just doesn't go bad. Dry caves can keep stuff for ages.

Man, my leftovers from last week are a biohazard. That honey's outlasted empires and my fridge cleanouts.
